Azura credit union breaks ground with loyd builders

Azura Credit Union has broken ground on a new, full-service retail branch in Ottawa, Kansas, which will be located next to Cosentino’s Price Chopper on East 19th Street. Azura, which currently serves Topeka, Olathe, Mission and Lenexa, has selected Loyd Builders to construct the new Ottawa branch.


NEW MED-ACT MEANS FASTER RESPONSE TIMES

Johnson County Government celebrated the opening of Med-Act Station #1131. Constructed by Loyd Builders, the new 5,400 square foot station expands EMS services, providing faster ambulance response times for thousands of Shawnee residents.

Loyd Builders was selected to lead the rebirth of the community’s downtown historic Post Office. Owner Rob Boyer said it was a natural fit for Loyd Builders to be the lead contractor: “Their attention to detail, bidding and desire to do it came through compared to everybody else we looked at.”

Adventhealth launches $5.2M expansion & renovation

AdventHealth

AdventHealth has launched an expansion project to double square footage for medical services, including Primary Care, Pediatrics, Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Services. AdventHealth partnered with construction company Loyd Builders on the project.

Loyd Builders Earns Design-build Merit Award

Loyd Builders was recognized among the top contractors in the region, earning a DBIA Merit Award for its work with SFS Architecture to construct Ottawa University’s new $14 million, 50,000-square-foot synergistic library/student center, which also includes a bookstore, dining hall and conference center.

USD 437 SELECTS LOYD builders FOR district-wide bond project

The Topeka Capital-Journal

Loyd Builders was chosen to spearhead multiple building renovations and additions for USD 437 Auburn-Washburn in Topeka following passage of the district’s $145 million bond. It includes work at all 7 of the district’s elementary schools, Washburn Rural Middle School and Tallgrass Learning Center.

Loyd-Built Project named a Bellwether finalist

The Bellwether Awards

Neosho County Community College’s Ottawa Campus placed among the Bellwether Award finalists. The project - constructed in 9 months using no state or local tax dollars - was a partnership between NCCC, Loyd Builders, Bartlett & West, and DeVore & Associates.
